Wait...Don't Rush

"Wait...Don't Rush" is a poem that shows us how life is fragile and delicate.

But if we give it time, it will become smooth like a pebble.

Good things come to those who wait.

————

A rose

delicate and beautiful,

a softness like it might fall apart,

yet, it’s thorns

deeply cut us

with no warning.

Such is the way of life,

knocking us back a few steps,

before putting our feet

on the right path.

When you encounter

those bumps in the road,

just remember,

a pebble doesn’t get smooth overnight.

Then slow down

and enjoy the ride.

Good fortune comes

to those who wait.
