Autumn

A beautiful day when summer is at its end

I can feel it near, it’s just weeks away

The cool morning breeze makes me blissful

Green leaves will soon disappear,

Changing to yellow, orange, red, and brown

The trees will look really pretty in its special rainbow of colors

The best kind of weather to wear a thin jacket or sweater

Perfect for coffee or even hot chocolate

A good excuse to stay in, under the covers

And an even better excuse to cuddle up with you
