Spring

Inspired by a month of rain, cold winds giving way to the green of Spring

Rain falls softly,

Tapping on

Window glass,

Wetting streets

So tires hum,

Greening grass,

Watering seeds

Planted in gardens,

Trees reach up

Branches so

Leaf buds unfurl,

Stream rush by

Banks catching

Every drop,

It has begun.
