My Way

Sometimes when life

Is tough, challenges

Abound, threaten to

Overwhelm, I ponder 

Choices made, steep

Climbs, rough falls, 

Consider the paths

Not taken, easy, smooth

Rides, then I see the

Faces of family, smiles

Of friends, sights seen

That would have been

Missed, for standing

After every stumble,

Healing from every

Pain made me the

Woman I am, strong

Enough to brace the

Storm, trusting that

Though I made

Mistakes, regret any

Suffering caused, I 

Know my best was done

As I understood it, so

Forward I walk on my

Life path, head high

To see the stars that

Light my journey to

All tomorrows and

Beyond.
