Why do we need the mirror?

Mirror, mirror on the

Wall, daily millions of

Women scrutinize in

Detail every aspect

Of their looks in you

And you are mute in

Response, your

Countenance

Inscrutable, their

Answers come too

Often from the

World outside, they

Starve, binge, pluck,

Wax, paint, adorn in

Attempt to gain the

Approval of others,

Mystical reflecting

Mirror, if you could

Impart a tiny bit of

Wisdom to release

Them from this

Bondage, what

Would you say and

Could you be heard?
