See this link in the original post

  • 1 Point Awarded Per Letter Given

  • 1 Point Subtracted Per Letter Received

  • 8 Skaters Per Player (Can Change Depending on Tournament)

Rules:

  1. Before the tournament begins, each of the players selects 8 representing skaters from the Battle at the Berrics tournament bracket.

  2. No two players can select the same skater.

  3. It’s advised to break up the selection into 4 regions on the double bracket, each containing 16 skaters to choose from, and only two from each region. (Upper Left 16, Lower Left 16, Lower Right 16, Upper Right 16.) Thus, avoid eliminating oneself before the semi final, collecting the most points along the way. But this is optional.

  4. When two of one players skaters face each other the player is awarded an automatic 10 Points but one of the two skaters is eliminated.

  5. At the start of every match, each skater begins with 5 points. During the match, 1 point is awarded to a skater for giving a letter. 1 point is subtracted for receiving one. (A skater winning a match can make no less points than 6, no more points than 10. A skater losing a match can make no more points than 4, no less points than 0. as a result.)

  6. Forfeits award the winning skater 5 points and the forfeit 0.

  7. Trading of skaters on an opposing team is allowed. Points do not trade. You keep what you got from the skater previous to your traded, and you gain only what the skater you’ve received makes after the trade.

  8. If at the end of a round a Player has no Skaters left on their team and there are avaliable skaters left to be chosen from, these players get to pick them free of charge. In order of lowest to highest total score. (Only 1 per empty team)

  9. The Fantasy Tournament is won by having collected the most points by the final match of Battle At The Berrics.

  10. The 2nd victory goes to whichever player has the winning skater of the tournament.

  11. An additional 10 points is awarded to the tournament winning skater added to their match score for a total final match score no lower that 16 points and no higher than 20.

  12. A side bet is held with a 2 point Buy-In (this is optional for every match.) The Players bet on the skater they believe will win the next match. If their choice is correct they are awarded two points to their total score. If they are incorrect they are subtracted the two points they bet. Any players that don’t bet neither gain nor lose any points. And players cannot bet on a match with one of their team skaters in it. Players who’ve had their entire team eliminated can still participate to slowly collect points through this betting system.

  13. An additional side bet is held at the start of the tournament where skaters predict the tournament match results, the semi finalists and the winner of the tournament. Whoever gets the most predictions on their bracket correct gets an additional 10 points awarded at the end of the tournament.
