Is not empty

Thoughts swirl as patterns, shapes

Colors, light, dark

Memories and emotions

Hopes and fears, defeats and dreams

Thus there is always a topic

Upon which to write

Awaiting my taking pen to paper

And putting to word

The feelings of my mind and heart
