Can we do away with Mondays?

But then Tuesday, would be Monday

And we’d have to do away with Tuesdays, too

Who could then face the Wednesdays?

The Thursdays and the Fridays

They’d each just topple o’er, like dominos do

That’d leave us Sat- and Sunday

And perhaps this is the one way

This Monday-to-Friday thing can be beat

Let’s make weekends all week long

Hey - that doesn’t sound so wrong

And eliminate the concept of “work weeks”!
