The Lily Plucked
A man plucked a lily, bright and pink,
Swinging in elation, from a garden.
He amputated it to inhale its fragrance.
But did he experience its sublime elegance.
Slow-witted fellow! When do you realize?
Elegance is cherished beholding things at their pose.
Possessive drive but thrives violence and brutality;
Protective intent fosters harmony and fertility.
O Thickheaded men! When do you feel?
Innocence is scapegoated, virginity ravished,
When the lily is plucked.
