Grey Thoughts

The Final Tuck

Footsteps gather around

diverged disorganized,

to attend you untouched

Tears clouded the eyes

The time has come

For the final tuck!

Prayers reverberate

Shadows of grieves,

Darkened the faces

The time has come,

For an unknown journey

For a well-memorized farewell

But will you feel the goodbye?

For the memories shall forget them

The cymbals clanged

Dancing in my rhythmic palpitations

Hearts drowned deep.

The unrest eyes stare

without a wink of sleep

They yearn for your final glimpse

The horns summon you,

wake your way to emptiness

walk you to nothingness

Sticks on shoulders.

You fasten your belts

to the fairyland

that you desired,

amidst the Dakinis

Or the netherworld

that I despised!

Melancholy dirges throughout your slumber

awaken your karma

All your sins perish,

in the pyre of redemption.

Flashes of your smile sparkle out

through the vision of my memories

The heat gulps down your existence,

And sanctifies the soul as your body

shrinks to ashes.

Freed you shall be now!

From grievances and greed

power and possession

the Worldly illusion

While the body unchains itself

the soul awaits,

To spin through the cycle of samsara!
