Grey Thoughts

Solace in the Dearth

Let my luck be locked

Like a Gordian knot; a dazing plot

And corporeal being sickened

Amidst greed, arrogance, hatred or vices

What if they devour my vigorous hours?

To nourish their appetite or lusty desires

For mere bread and thread on my sides

With all diplomacy, corrupt enterprise

Validate them determine

The living I lead

On budgetary scale

I'm able to yield

The being in me

Knows no bounds, restrictions

Capable of breaking all holds, afflictions

Call it my soul or spiritual whole

I flight with dreams beyond horizon

To endless heights; an eternal zone

Where concrete entities, defeat or victory

Turn to dust surviving in history

My soul aspiring to abide in space

Of perennial truth, of formless grace

Accustomed to bear all trials and threats

Be season of autumn, a prison or pests

Let me escape the fabricated exihibit

Of earthly glory; a majestic fortune

Materialistic treasure does invite

But momentary pleasure, airy delight

Solace l find in contentment imbibed

Scholars' visions, aesthetics and light
