Kiss Me
Feelings in old age, a bold appeal
————
Kiss me on my wrinkled forehead, with the same passion that you used to
Kiss me on my cheeks, though they are no longer pinkish
Kiss me on my whithering lips, as they no longer quiver but shiver
Hug me tight, though my fragile frame, can no longer offer mischievous resistance
Lift me into air, you can surely do it without much effort
Hold my hands, they exhibit the same warmth, as before
Sing me a song, may be a bit loud, my failing ears can hear and respond
Take me on a walk ,not as before on to an unexplored path
Lend your hand, slow your steps in tandem with mine
Look into my eyes with an extra effort, this time they are a bit deep
But I promise ,you can read the same messages of love
Oh! Dear hold me tight in your embrace, where I can feel your never failing warmth
Let me rest my head in your lap, look into the moonlit skies
Allow me to glance at the shooting stars, reaching their horizon
