Getting Away From Your Thoughts

Thinking of you

And not getting you

Memories of you

And going back to you

Is something that's painful

With heart full of disdainful

Melting rainful

Going baleful

And my heart is scornful

With all the pain that I didn't want to get from you.

Getting away from your thoughts

And accepting the presence

Is nothing as it seems real

But the agony that bring back the moment

Is the harsh forment

That usher emotions of all those flashbacks in a torrent.

There's always a twinge in meeting you

And accepting the reality that isn't the real you of the pictures that I projected in my mind.

There's always a heart beat shuffling

And making vulnerable trying to imagine the good moments to happen that I wished in my kind.

Why did I question always to self

Why did I answer always to self

Where did I go wrong trying to be right

Where did I go right trying to be wrong

I wanted to get answers from you

I wanted to get explanations from you

But you stayed silent

And made me more violent

Pictured me as a defiant

And I couldn't perceive you as reliant.

There was a time when I tried so hard

You were there but moments were marred

Wanted to be so soft so butterfly

But turned out to be so hard so dry

We were good but not better

The conversations that we had could been smoother

But the twist that you introduced

Was nothing but of a bruiser

Wanted jealousy from my side

But I was all aware to awake my mind

And stayed silent

Ignored the torment

Created refreshment

Enjoyed the fragments

And lived in the moments.

The story could have a meaning

Until and unless you weren't demeaning

Couldn't get the explanations

Tried many times but you tangled the suffocations

There was no any option left than to come out from the fire

Nor I could have choked and everything could have been mire.
