Ducks
A writer was working on a novel for months. They had created a vibrant world and interesting characters, but for some reason, they just couldn't seem to get the story to move forward. Every time they tried to write, they felt like they were stuck in a rut.
One day, they decided to take a break from writing and go for a walk in the park. As they walked, they noticed a small pond with a few ducks swimming around in it. Suddenly, the writer had an idea. They decided to take a seat on the edge of the pond and just watch the ducks.
For hours, the writer just watched the ducks, noticing the way they moved and interacted with each other. Gradually, ideas started to form in their mind about the story they were writing. They were filled with new enthusiasm and energy, and when they returned home, they were able to write the next chapter with ease.
From then on, every time the writer felt stuck, they would take a walk to the park and watch the ducks. The ducks had provided the perfect inspiration for them to keep writing and eventually, they were able to finish their novel.
The writer was so grateful to the ducks for helping them overcome writer’s block. From then on, they could always rely on nature to help them when they felt stuck.
