Bags

Strict dietary requirements#

In the morning after the first rush of the commuters, I clean down my space, pack it all up, put it inside my suitcases, wrap my sleeping bags inside black waste bags and tie them with strong rope (Hemp). I get I cup of tea from some of the passersby. Sometimes they get it with milk, which I have to pour away, but I keep the cups as a sign of respect. I have self-respect. I get Hemp milk for myself wherever I can get it from. I am not short of money; I can afford tea and hemp milk for myself. I just live outside, I just live with my bags, with my poor skin and myself alone.

I get myself ready for the world, here. I always wear a large floppy hat, my thick Barbour jacket (despite the weather) short boots for summer or wellingtons for the rain. I am in olive greens, rusty browns, and a splash of scarlet. My skin is itching, pink inflamed and embarrassing. I rub in the hemp oil, I know it will calm it for about an hour or so, if I am lucky. But it only works on my hands for so long, and upon my face nothing works there at all.

HEMP

Hemp is used to make a variety of commercial and industrial produce, including clothes, textiles, rope, food, paper, plastics and insulation. The fibres can be used to make textiles that are 100% hemp, but they are more commonly blended with other organic fibres, such as flax, cotton or silk, to make woven fabrics for clothing and furnishings.

100 grams of hulled hemp seeds supply 586 calories. They are 5% water, 5% carbohydrates, 49% total fat and 31% protein. Hemp seeds are notable in providing 64% of the daily value (DV) of protein per 100 gram serving. Hemp fibre has been used extensively throughout history.
