Hello all, I hope everyone is coping well with the current societal circumstances.

We have a new update on the website for you guys

As our audience increases dramatically on mobile and our percentage of desktop and laptop uses drops down significantly, we’ve opted into some additional optimizations for the mobile experience and navigation. This won’t negatively affect Desktop and Laptop users, it’ll also increase their visual experience if they so please.

The optimization is a new Grid style Navigation System. A screen shot is below.

Mobile Grid

The Mobile Grid is composed of two rows of Image based navigational options that’ll move you throughout all of The Writers Club.

Desktop Grid

Similarly, the Desktop version is a three row design.

This navigational system should help everyone move through the website efficiently. This in no way affects the original navigational system on the top navigation bar of each individual page. The only change those pages have experienced is a button which returns the visitor to the Grid and this can be accessed from any page within the site.

As shown in the image above, this link rests over the banner at the top of every page. Our hopes are that this button increases the Mobile Friendliness of the website and gives you some pretty images to checkout as you choose your destination. Additionally, the website’s Cover Page now links First to the Grid and then by clicking through either the Home Button, or any of the other buttons, the visitor will be faced with the original navigation and have the option to always return to the Grid if that is preferred.
